Main Purpose of the Position Responsible for all activities in terms of HR , the purpose for the role is to implement the organisation’s HR strategy so that the organisations attract, manages, develops and retain the employees it needs to achieve its current and future objectives, supporting managers with HR advice in order to drive cultural change , create the right environment and high performance Reports to the HR Director Key Responsibilities: •Liaison with leadership team to develop and implement appropriate HR strategies for the business needs •Evaluate workforce needs in order to recommend changes and adapt current HR programmes to meet these needs •Evaluate external labour market conditions and internal employee turnover in order to adapt current strategies to changing market conditions •Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure HR strategy effective implementation •Establish HR budget •Ensure that the organisation complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards •Leadership recruitment •Select and manage ongoing relationships with recruitment agencies to ensure that the organisation receives satisfactory standards of service •Direct the organisation’s training and development activities in order to ensure that these are conducted in accordance with current policies and standards •Liaison with leadership to develop and implement training, succession plans that are appropriate for the business and performance improvement plans for professionals •Coaching leaders •Liaison with employees’s representatives •Grievance and discipline for professional group •ODR forward/merit process •Professional compensation and benefits •Interface with CGT HR/PGBU HR •Membership of local diversity council •Membership of Community Involvement Team •Exit interviews •Headcount reporting


Experience Required: •strong HR generalist experience within a manufacturing background •significant experience in coaching and influencing employees, particularly in relation to continually driving initiatives to create a right environment and high performance culture •demonstrated experience managing and continuously improving HR process in order to support business objectives •able to work under time pressure •good written and verbal communication skills •English skills •Computer literate •Able to work effectively with people at all levels in the organisation, especially management area •Ability to deliver training Education/qualifications required •university business degree (preferred Human Resources Management) •fully qualified in HRM
