Ensure all DLA food deliveries to site are correctly handled. Liaise with the DLA Catering Manager, the DLA UK Head Chef and NAMSA, or their representatives, to ensure correct stock levels are being maintained in line with Min/Max levels through timely submission of orders. To make sure the daily issue and receipt of rations is captured and correctly accounted for. Ensure FIFO is being adhered to at all times eliminating any issues of stock running out of date. Advise DLA Catering Manager in a timely fashion of any concerns relating to the management of food stocks. Attend staff briefings. Attend and assist in training sessions and tool box talks.


Excellent English language skills, oral and written. 5 years + experience in food storage and supply. 5 years + experience in inventory control. Previous experience of running a ration account in a US DLA DFAC. Sound understanding of the requirements of TBMED 530 Fully conversant with the DLA STORES system for ordering and managing food. Sound understanding of FIFO. Computer literate. Previous experience of working with a multi national work force. Experience of working in severe climates.
