Activitatea mea cuprindea sustinerea activitatii didactice specifice postului( predarea/consolidarea/evaluarea cunostintelor de limba engleza) la nivelul scolii primare, gimnaziale si liceale, precum si activitati de supraveghere/interactionare cu elevii in timpul pauzelor si in ora de dirigentie. Totodata, postul impunea studierea programelor scolare si elaborarea/completarea documentelor de planificare anuala, semestriala si zilnica, insotite de o continua pregatire personala si profesionala in domeniul limbii engleze, psihologiei copilului si metodicii activitatilor didactice.
My responsibilities included a direct teacher-to-student educational activity of 21 hours/ week. In addition to the actual teaching, I had to write a detailed syllabus containing the steps of my teaching programme, for every class/ level of students. I assessed the works and the tests of each student, providing a suitable recovering measure in case of a dissatisfying result. I had to find creative and adequate means of interacting with my students, and to come up with interesting communicational situations/materials.
I had to provide all the needed educational activities for primary school students (teaching reading/writing, Mathematics, arts, science etc.). I had to plan and organize each educational sequence of my didactic activity and keep up to date with modern teaching methodology and child psychology.
