• During the three years of study in nursing school, I performed a total number of 2592 hours of medical practical training. • The practical training occurred at Ploiesti County Hospital. • My responsibilities were: intravenous and intramuscular injection, measuring arterial blood pressure, blood sampling, insertion of catheter and perfusions. • I also took care of elderly people (over 65 years) ,every day of my practical training, especially people who suffered of mental illness: day to day support, helping getting up and going to bed, eating, washing, dressing, etc. Accomplishments: I worked directly with patients, providing support to the 14 basic needs outlined by Virginia Henderson (eg. breathing normally, eating and drinking adequately, eliminating body wastes, moving and maintaining a desirable position, sleeping and resting, selecting suitable clothes etc) .
