In the restaurant I take care of the soups preparation, sauces and all the food that requires thermal processing and also I take the orders, arrange the food into the plates and pass them on to the waiters. I am also in charge of any food that comes out from the thermal processing.
I have rented this restaurant in the historical centre of Bucharest. I opted for Italian food, very appreciated, and soon we were appreciated for one of the best Italian restaurants. Unfortunately, the streets and buildings in the area got into a restoration process and eventually I had to sell the business. During its activity, I took care of the kitchen mostly. I implemented the recipes and took care of their preparation, including the menus for different events and catering.
The employer wanted a change, he had a Romanian and international cuisine. I proposed him to add Italian food to the menu and soon the results started showing up. My job was to prepare the hot and cold foods and pass them to the waiters. I was also establishing the necessary of ingredients, receiving the ordered quantities as well.
This restaurant was the only 4* restaurant in Oltenia. A new and modern construction. I had to take care of the organisation of the employees and mostly the kitchen. It was a short contract for training personnel. I took care of the recipes implementation and I supervised the employees in order to have the best quality for the food. A part of my contract was the organisation of an event with 800 guests for a medical product launch. Because of the services and the foods we became very appreciated in a short while.
This restaurant has a 400 seats capacity and it is located in a special place near Herastrau lake in Bucharest. I supervised and coordinated the personnel activity, maintained a good relationship with the other departments and I solved the problems and eventual complaints of the customers. I was also responsible for organising the special events.
The restaurant was a small location (70 seats inside and 70 seats of the terrace). I had many attributions including: preparing the hot and cold food according to the recipes, handing over the plates with the food to the waiters, establishing the necessary of ingredients and also receiving the necessary.
At this restaurant I have started my career and it was my first workplace. As a waiter, I had to take the clients orders and serve them.
