I was assigned to Microsoft's Online Services Department, more specifically the comparison shopping unit: Bing Shopping/ Ciao Europe where I collaborated cross-country with colleagues from the United States as well as Germany and India. Worked with dedicated internal company tools as well as MS Excel in order to create, organize and enhance the company's online products catalog. Performed online research for products and to implement an internal taxonomy Developed documentation for the internal tools used by the team Created a centralized list of issues, as well as possible solutions which I presented to management and development team. Contributed to the productivity of the team in my role as Project Manager, coordinating the tasks of 10 people: Organized the workflow in order to meet deadlines Assigned tasks within the team Analyzed and improved the work process in order to achieve better results Held regular planning and reporting meetings with the entire team, as well as with the managers Filled in productivity and quality reports for the department managers. As a result of my efforts the team achieved a productivity increase of 30% and a quality increase of 5% (from 90% to 95%) in a short period of time (6 months).
