Established and managed major IT transversal projects and activities of the bank: IT Security projects: • PCI DSS pre-certification (scope reduction and remediation plan setup) • DLP (Data loss prevention for mails, file servers, external devices etc.) • IAM (Identity and Access rights Management for the sensitive BRD pplications, in terms of security risks and user management) • Security risk assessment for banking projects based on SG methodology. Projects for Financial Market Department: • Reuters platform migration (software, hardware, architecture, new interfaces, extended features) • Joint-Venture between BRD and SGIB London (conformity, security risk assessment, scope setup, remediation plan) BRD internal Data Warehouse using SAS technology: SAS Base, BI server (including OLAP), Data marts, Data mining for two majors projects: • Commercial Reporting is being used by BRD network (.pdf files, data marts) • Financial Reporting is being used by BRD top-management and BNR (dashboard, OLAP cubes, and data marts), ex: liquidity, solvency, provisions, balance report etc. Part of the team in charge with general design for the new CRM application based on Oracle E-Business platform. Preliminary analysis for new future BRD applications: factoring, big customers’ management, credit risk management etc. Reverse engineering for core-banking credits: documentation, special cases and optimizations. Participating to the banking cards system’s integration with core - banking system. Preparation internal IT workshops with general themes: key IT management processes, database modeling, SQL design patterns.

In charge in time, with overall company’s activities: the evaluation and business case analysis for the company’s projects, supervision of the projects in difficulty, pre-sales, starting up for a part of the company’s projects, internal workshops setup for new technologies, technical director for a part of the projects. 1996 - 2000: Senior Project Manager at Crinsoft, managed and achieved, mainly, three major projects: - (1999 - 2000): Informational system for the medical analyses laboratories for a market leader client, I managed a team, in time, between 9 and 13 programmers, the effective worked time was about 3 000 days programmer, the application was developed in VB/VC++ 6.0 and SqlServer 7.0, with Crystal Report, Ole Tools, Spread 3.0, Formula One etc. The major achieved tasks were: the management of the patients, demands, exams, analyses, doctors, collaborators, the exchanges with the Social Security (NOE - NOEMIE protocols), the exchanges with the other laboratories, the communication with the analyzers by TCP/IP sockets, background tasks, two impression servers, designing reports by users in Formula One and a very elaborated user interface. I realized, together with the client, the functional and applicative analysis for the entire project, writing the specifications for the application and designing the data model, use-cases, activities diagrams and process models for each module. - (1997 - 1998): Management of a project for a medical assurance mutual fund with 120 000 subscribers, the development team was 4 - 6 programmers, the effective worked time was about 4 000 days - spent in France and Romania, the development platform was VFP 6.0 (with components in VB 6.0 and VC++ 6.0) and SqlServer 6.5. The main modules of the application were: the management of the invoicing, subscribers, cash flow, a complex management of the events in time: past or future, the entire accounting interface, the exchanges with the Social Security, with the pharmacies, hospitals, banks, the renewal operation, all the particular cases for the mutual funds profession (with many aspects regarding the detailed functional analysis and integration tests with the final client). - (1996): I was responsible for the closing, the bug corrections and final installation of an application for a French cinema network. The development was achieved in Visual C++ with a MS Access database.
I followed three weeks in Bruxelles, an intensive course of financial analysis and investment banking theory. The development environment was C for server-side and Visual C++ for client-side upon the UNIX systems, communicating by RPC. The database solutions were Sybase 10 and C - ISAM. We developed two very large platforms for all UNIX systems working simultaneously with two databases: Sybase and C - ISAM.
Especially, as programmer and more lately as junior team leader, I put the basis and carry out a very large application for the management of the Fiscal Code in Romania. The project was developed in C language and Oracle 6 as database, in a BULL multi - processor machine, BOS - UNIX system. Actually, all the application’s features: the granting of the fiscal code for all the Romanian companies, the database with the financial information of all the companies - including the management of TVA, the communication with territorial centers of Ministry of Finance, are still working and they are a very important component of the fiscal code system in Romania.
