I supervise and operate the process from the control room with PLC SCADA monitoring system to carried out in optimal conditions.I observe dosage of reagents, modifying them according to the amount of contaminants , ensure the functioning of NOXON sludge dewatering centrifuges and daily check the technical condition of the equipment: centrifugal and screw pumps, mixers, pipes,decanters,pressure and level indication,sludge dewatering,compressors,KAESER blowers,etc. I supervise oil recovery operations, storage in tank oil,water and impurities separation and pumping in refinery.I complete all work permits (fire,no fire,digging,etc.), check the procedures and safety rules and perform safety briefing subordinate staff and subcontractors (repairs, maintenance, construction teams) and make internal audits regularly. I preparing daily reports utilizing data computerized control system. I was involved in modernizations and automatizations of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (for refinery) in partnerschip with Swedish company Purac. In commissioning stage, I was involved in activities as: mechanical cleaning, washing, air blowing, leak test, dry out, oil flushing,etc. As team leader, in construction stage, I coordinated to the mounting works of new pipelines and connection to existing installations. In this position, I planned and coordinated the activities of the team, integrated with construction teams and I participated to equipments inspection, such as: tanks,vessels, scraper bridges, mixers,pumps,etc. I had supervised and coordinated activities as: running of various types equipments, solo run test for motors and blowers, preparing punch list and system hand-over/acceptance and testing of PLC for compressors, blowers, pumps, dewatering sludge centrifuges and other equipment. All these works have been done to the plant in operation, using the by-pass for different parts of the plant. In the final, I participated at starting the installation through normal operation, including with the priming biological stage.
Monitoring and operating the Electrical Desalinate & Atmospheric Crude Oil Distillation and Vacuum Crude Oil Distillation, units technologic process.Working with plant operators, transmit maneuvers that are necessary to maintain all operating parameters. Taking action on the start-up and shut-down of the plants, according with Shift Supervisor instructions, in collaboration with Plants Operators. Promptly inform the Plant Supervisor about possible anomalies and take directly corrective measures, if required. In the overhaul times, I attended at various operations of pre-commissioning / commissioning, such as: emptying, washing, steam cleaning, ventilation, inerting of plants and various tests of pressure and sealing. Operate the unit according to standard procedures, start–up, normal operation and shut down activities, supervise all parameters and take action to correct them in order to keep the units steady. The olefins plant has a capacity of 200,000 t/y ethylene and is built under LURGI License, Cold box produced by L'Air Liquid France operated by an EUROTHERM DCS of English fabrication. In charge with control of the process parameters (temperatures, pressures, levels, etc.), taking appropriate measures to adjust them for an optimum operation of the process.
