1. To receive and issue food supplies, carrying out accounting procedures in accordance with current regulations. 2. To correctly maintain a manual stock accounting system 3. To ensure all stocks are strictly rotated using a use by date system. 4. To maintain the stores and reefer areas in a hygienic and safe condition reporting any defects directly to the Head Chef. 5. Liaise daily with the Head Chef. 6. Receive continuation training. 7. Correctly issue all food requisitions as directed by the Head Chef or Chef Supervisors. 8. Attend all staff meetings as directed. 9. Undertake any other reasonable task as directed 10. Continue to develop one’s own skills and knowledge within the position. 11. To ensure correct usage and cleanliness of stores equipment reporting the defects through the Catering Operations and Management team 12. The maintenance of company standards, policy and initiatives 13. To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, compliance with current food regulations and the Quality Control System 14. Promote the Company business and seek value added opportunities. 15. Continue to develop one’s own skills and knowledge within the position. 16. Manage all staff in a sound, fair and logical manner ensuring the good name of the KBR is upheld. 17. Communication of information to relevant client personnel within your designated theatre area. 3. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB 1. To be able to have an excellent understanding of the English language (Verbal and written) 2. IT Skills: a. Microsoft Word – Good b. Microsoft Excel – Excellent 3 Be highly motivated, strong, confident and articulate. Have good people skills and be a sound communicator. 4. Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate / Or equivalent to country of origin
