Assistant Recreation Manager: • Assist in managing all pertinent matters concerning the effective operations of the Recreation Department. • Will be responsible for maximizing all revenue opportunities through effective teamwork and development and will ensure that recreational and leisure facilities are delivered to brand standards. • Will be responsible for creating and implementing of all Standard Operating Procedures, beginning with a complete membership structure. • Ensure that all Recreation department's safety procedures, rules and regulations are strictly observed by all Guests & Members. • Develop and plan strategies of selling the memberships, facilities and services to all prospective Guests & Members. • Design monthly reports for membership figures, membership retention and revenues. • Ensure the smooth renewal process for each and every member. • Coordinating and supervising the planning, presentation and service of recreational and leisure services and facilities to ensure the highest quality at all times. • Assist the Recreation Manager in the implementation of department policies and procedures, employee recruitment and retention, performance / behavior management, succession planning, training and coaching of employees to enhance performance of colleagues resulting in consistently high customer satisfaction scores. • Keeping up to date with industry trends, products, systems and best practices.
Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year experience as Asst. Recreation Manager or a proven record in Recreational and Leisure Management in a 5 star hotel. • Educated to a degree level. • Strong understanding / experience of Hotel Operations in a multi-cultural environment. • Self-starter, with the ability to understand the business and link them to department agenda. • High level of drive for results; adaptable and flexible with the ability to build relationships. • Gain trust and support of senior managers.
