Main Duties: • Implements the corporate assurance program for compliance with Standards of Business Conduct, business ethics, code of conduct and annual declaration, labor law, letter of compliance for contractors and sub-contractors; • Conducts audits, spot-checks and investigations, analyzes findings, prepares reports, and maintains records for areas/activities within scope of responsibility; • Monitors and investigates reported compliance concerns; • Develops corrective action responses to audits and investigations’ findings; • Summarizes compliance issues and communicates any matter deemed potentially illegal, unethical, or otherwise improper to supervisor. Makes recommendations to improve compliance; • Maintains awareness of compliance issues related to areas of responsibility across the organization; • Works with business unit leaders to increase awareness of the business compliance program; • Participates in developing the self-audit program; • Coordinates with colleagues in HSED & Contracts Administrators to identify risk areas in contractors’ employees’ welfare and related matters. • Coordinates with colleagues in the Audit & Risk Assessment, and Legal departments to ensure alignment and cooperation in minimizing risk and exposure; • Participates in the development and training of department members with emphasis on integrating UAE national employees.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills and Experience/(Key Competencies): • B.Sc. or BA with 6-8 years experience in business management/audit related to oil & gas industry. • Strong knowledge of corporate ethics, compliance and business practices • Candidate should: o be able to interpret regulations and understand commercial contracts and conduct research o be well versed with contractors/sub-contractors management and regulations o have strong written and oral communication skills o be analytical, independent, and self-motivated o be flexible, and capable of multi-tasking
