The position is based in Randers, Denmark. Some travel will be required. THE CLIENT As the world's leading supplier of wind power solutions, they have delivered more than 40,000 wind turbines in 65 countries and with over 20,000 employees they are eager to welcome a new Finance Director for their Offshore business. DEPARTMENT Operating as one of the 14 business units the offshore unit focuses exclusively on selling, constructing and operating wind power plants at sea. With offices based in Denmark, the Netherlands, China, North America, Germany and the United Kingdom the unit is responsible for involvement of offshore wind power plants worldwide. The Offshore Unit is synonymous with professionalism, overview and the capacity to take a holistic approach to projects from the initial idea to the completed wind farm, dealing with the unpredictability of Mother Nature and all the other special challenges that apply to offshore projects. The Offshore unit is a prime example of strength and flexibility combined. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS As a Financial Controller you will report directly to the Director for Reporting and Compliance with responsibility for: * Manage the consolidation process for cash flow reporting for all offshore group companies; * Liaison with Group Treasury on cash flow related issues; * Act as Key Account Manager for a range of fixed capacity cost centres working closely with the budget owners; * Take part in the budgeting & forecasting process for all offshore group companies; * Assisting in the development and completion of Group Reporting; * Ensuring a proactive not reactive approach to operations; * Various ad hoc reporting tasks.


QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE Applicants should have relevant financial qualification M. Sc. in Economics and Business Administration (cand. merc. or similar) and should have a number of years of work experience in a similar field gained in a multinational company. You should also be confident and assertive with strong work ethics and a stable track record. Good spreadsheet skills and knowledge of SAP and SAS would be an advantage.
