Job Responsibilities PLA stands for “Product Listing Ads” and are advertisements that come from the Merchant Center available. Product Listing Ads are search ads that include richer product information, such as price, product image, and merchant name, without requiring additional keywords or ad text. The interface and requirements for implementing PLAs has recently changed; namely, the ads are moving from free use to commercial use. For this position, representatives will be calling Merchant Center customers and assisting them in adapting to the new changes. Tasks include: • Review & rank prospects from list • Hone opening pitch • Establish contact point • Make contact (bypass gatekeepers) • First call – determine interest and propose Product Listing Ads in AdWords • Any Subsequent Calls – determine how to close the pitch Representatives will be given a list of leads and are expected to contact a certain percentage of those leads within a given period of time, and convert or “win” a certain percentage of those contacts – exact targets to be provided during training. In addition to demonstrating sales and business development expertise, our Inside Sales Representatives have additional responsibilities, including: • Contacting existing customers via telephone and email on a daily basis • Consulting with clients to provide the best solution for their business goals • Building customer relationships and managing accounts while increasing program revenue • Developing accounts and growing strategic relationships • Using existing client data to provide custom recommendations tailored to client goals • Processing orders set by the customer regularly • Other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements A successful Inside Sales Representative will have a minimum of 6 months sales experience with a proven track record and a strong desire to exceed expectations and sales initiatives. Additionally you will need: •High school diploma required; four year degree a plus •Exemplary communication skills and superior listening skills •Self-starter who can meet deadlines and enjoys working in a competitive inside sales environment •Highly motivated and goal-oriented •Takes direction well while also demonstrating leadership capabilities •Creative decision making skills and proven ability to work independently •Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills •Knowledge of MS Excel and Office and basic use of voicemail and electronic mail systems
