SUMMARY OF THE POSITION : As an IT Help Desk Analyst, your role will entail providing front-line telephone support for users with regard to all incidents and requests relating to the Company’s standard service. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide technical support for users regarding any problems relating to the use of standard corporate software; - Answer telephone calls and emails, and record all incidents and requests brought to the attention of the Help Desk in the database; - Managing Active Directory; - Forward requests or incidents requiring to the appropriate groups, and follow up to ensure incidents/problems fixed; - Add access of users to different security network groups (Manage and configure access to different servers and applies security to all networked folders and files following management requests); - Rollout out of new PC's, re-image of existing PC's, and refresh Laptops and Desktops; - Install and configure: BLACKBERRY; - Install, configure and test Printers with TCP/IP address.

Knowledge: - Domains Administration; - Windows NT4, 2000, 2003,servers, maintenance; - DRA console for the management of Active Directory; - Microsoft Office 2003, 2007; - Deployment tools (smarthost, Altiris, etc...); - Altiris and Dam Ware console ( distance controlling system); - Citryx Metaframe – Remote access; - Smart Dashboard; - Outlook -Access permissions, delegations and rights; - Managing and maintenance, mail server Microsoft Exchange; - FTP servers. Abilities: - Analyze and diagnostic users problems; - IT asset management and tracking, collaborating with other IT staff; - Provide support for all users for hardware, software, standard and nonstandard; ` - Prioritize and manage tickets, and update Management Ticketing system; - Analyze user requirements, setup hardware and software; - Actively participate in the implementation of new corporate or local IT projects; - Ability to communicate in both French and English, verbally and in writing.
