Sc Infomunca Srl is recruiting a Process Engineer for one of the largest industrial and petrochemical company in Saudi Arabia. Industry: Polymer production and conversion industry Job Details Responsible for the activities related to the development of new processes including researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating process cost, quality, and performing process characterization and optimization studies using designed experiments, problem-solving and decision making tools. Identifies and solves issues or problems with equipment/process. Troubleshoots possible causes and coordinates the activities of maintenance, production and other available resources to implement cost effective solutions. Provides coordination of new process installation and process changes. Lead the investigations into material processing problems in resolving customer complaints. Develop/optimize processes for existing, modified and new polyolefin grades. Prepare and deliver polymer processing courses to the internal and external customers. Assume responsibility for risk assessment, including hazard and operability studies.
Key Skills • Extensive hands-on operational and maintenance experience in polyethylene and polypropylene conversion processes such as extrusions (pipe, Film/sheet, Fibre, containers) and injection molding • Ability to interpret and apply material characteristic data (physical, chemical, thermal, rheological & mechanical) as it pertains to extrusion and injection molding process optimization • Able to interpret and correlate data generated by himself and that obtained from the other technical and operating staff • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) technical data and solutions to the scientific researchers, marketers and customers • Hands on skills in specifying, installation and commissioning of new processing machines and improvement of the existing ones. • Experience in CAD/CAE and process simulation techniques such as Autodesk Moldflow Qualification: An university degree in engineering/polymer engineering Experience: 15 years
