JOB CATEGORY * Low Voltage CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION The person would be responsible for managing one or more Large Projects. He would be expected to manage all the aspects related to the projects: * Oversee the design aspect (if it is in the scope); * Get Installation supervised; * Get the commissioning done and then handover the project to the client; * Managing Project in a process based manner; * Keeping track of the Project Schedule and take corrective actions; * Team Management; * Client relationship Management; * Vendor/ Supplier Management; * Ensuring the profitability of the project (as per the bid document); * Managing relationships with all internal touchpoints like Recruitment, Finance, Pre-Sales, etc. COMPENSATION Take Home Salary range – will be discussed. Besides take home salary, these people would be entitled to Company Car, Family Accommodation/ Family House Rent Allowance in lieu of it + Standard Benefits (annual bonus as per HR Policy, annual Gratuity entitlement @21 days Basic Salary for every year of service put in, free lunch in office during working days, medical benefits (covers family as well), annual vacation of 30 days, annual return air ticket – covers family as well (which can also be encashed) etc.).
PERSON PROFILE (all points are essential) * The person should be an Engineer with at least 12 years experience in Project Management; * He should be in the age range of 33 – 50/ 51; ideally between 37 to 45; * Should have handled Large Projects; * Should have handled Large Projects in the area of Low Voltage side (CCTV, Access Control, BMS, Audio Video, PAGA, etc.) basically he should have handled Campus Projects, wherein the different low voltage systems, the OSP/ OFC network, ISP/ Structured Cabling network, etc. were set up; * Should have himself done installation and commissioning, at least at some point of his career, that is must have hands on exp also in these areas; * Must not have just managed vendors to whom work was outsourced, but got the work done thro’ an in-house team. The former has more of a coordinating role whereas the person who has himself got work done thro’ an in – house team has to have much greater technological and project management skills; * Must be conversant with the use of Primavera/ MS Project for project management (obviously personal mastery of these tools not reqd; but must be used to using them as an integral part of project management); * Good soft skills – goes without saying.
