POSITION Guest Relations Officer OBJECTIVE A member of the Front Office, To direct and guide the reception team in providing highest level of hospitality to guests and ensure a high standard of services from check in up to check out. Responsible for the effective and friendly service at the counter by verbal communication to customers. LOCATION Kuramathi Island Resort ( http://www.kuramathi.com/ ) REPORTS TO Asst Front Office Manager/ FOM KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensures that all operating standards are fully implemented, maintained and exceeded throughout the reception to reach guest satisfaction. • Co-ordinates the Reception and assigns in detail specific duties to all outlet associates under her / his supervision. • Oversees all arrivals, departures including VIP guests, ensures communication to associates of any upcoming special requirements. • Supports the Front Desk during check-in and check-out times ensuring personalised and professional service to our guests at all times. Giving information to guests who have no tour guides. • Ensure prompt, efficient and accurate service to all the customers to achieve high level of guest satisfaction. • Ensure communication both within the department and across the hotel is timely, accurate and comprehensive. • Monitors the operational efficiency at the reception desk. • Ensures that the reception team does it utmost to up sell our hotel products and services. • Is responsible for handling guest complaints. • Handles guest needs, inquiries, requests and complaints by assuring appropriate action is taken or delegated until guest satisfaction has been met and exceeded • Monitoring guest experience and actively seeking verbal feedback from them on a regular basis. Agrees and implements actions to make improvements to guest service. • Communicates on a daily basis with guests at the reception counter about their experiences, wishes and needs. • Creates with his / her team a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the lobby. • Anticipates up selling opportunities where possible. • Actively participates in up selling programs at the Reception. This is not an exhaustive list of responsibility; it is only an indication of her duties and responsibilities expected from GRO. It will be subject to any other duty and responsibility by the management as and when required Package - o Nett Salary in US$ 800 tax free + Service Charge (between 200 – 400 US$) + TIPS o Two sharing Accommodation o Flight ticket to Home Country once a year o 30 days annual leave o All meals free o monthly F&B allowance o free laundry o 6 months to 1 year contract, renewable o 1 day R&R – recreation o Free Insurance Coverage within Maldives, India, Sri-lanka and Thailand.

REQUIREMENT: • Should have worked in hospitality • Must be able to work under pressure • Ability to coordinate with colleagues • Excellent English skills • Good physical health • Extroverted • Ability to meet standard appearance • Well-groomed, out-going personality and friendly manner. • Strong confidence • Good human relations / inter-personal skill • Strong leadership and having hands on experience in Guest Relations. • Good communication skill; ability to convey message / information to people at all levels either verbally or in writing. • Focused, self driven, target & result oriented. • Computer literate. • Conversant with Italian and Spanish other than English
