RESPONSIBILITIES Purpose * This is a key operational role within the European IT Organization, with the following main responsibilities: * To support the IT Asset Management processes * To support the IT Software Asset Management Compliance * To support the Asset Lifecycle process across Europe Specific Responsibilities * Hardware Asset Management * Support the Hardware request process – act as back-up * Support the Hardware purchase process – act as back-up * Software Asset Management * Managing the request process – Offer support to the users and manage requests related to software * Managing the purchase process – Offer support to the requestors/users and manage requests related to software license purchases * Maintaining database of authorized installations * Maintaining and improving the existing processes * Maintaining databases as part of the processes (inventory, contracts etc.) and ensuring data quality and accuracy including company confidential data * IT Software Compliance * Managing Software compliance * Review of installed base and comparison with actual number of licenses for assigned products/manufacturers and implement necessary actions where needed * Supporting all external Software compliance audits incl. SAM engagements * Analyzing and optimizing assigned contract types * Supporting projects related to IT Asset Management * Develop and accurately maintain existing documentation (ITAM Handbook).
Education / Qualification Requirements of the Role * IT Skill areas should include: * Good Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint knowledge (required) * PC hardware knowledge (basic: required; advanced: advantage) * Good software licensing knowledge (advantage) * Microsoft SharePoint knowledge (advantage) * Nintex Workflow knowledge (advantage) * LANDesk/SCCM Reporting knowledge (advantage) * IT Asset Management tools knowledge (advantage) * Oracle (advantage) An effective communicator * Good written communication skill ‐ Good documentation & procedure writing skill Strong analytical skills and capabilities (required) Strong, demonstrable Customer focus Language knowledge: Fluent in English (speaking / reading / writing), other languages an advantage Quick learner, team player Logically organized, efficient and creative Good problem solving skills.
