Objectives: The Application Engineer is responsible to support the sales offices identifying the most suitable products and technical solutions by sizing and selecting regulators, providing special prices and lead times based on the customer’s requirements. His/her main responsibility is to facilitate the Regulators bookings by ensuring an outstanding and timely support particularly – but not only limited to – special constructions and projects. Main Duties: • Develop and prepare Pressure Regulators & Spare parts offers and technical proposals with the best regulators from Regulators Technologies portfolio regardless of the source factory – in compliance with the customer’s technical specifications – according to Company processes and procedures for the assigned customers in the served areas (Europe and Asia). If the suitable technical solution implies the possibility of using Natural Gas, Tescom or Enardo Regulators, work closely with the other business to be able to support the customers at best. • Estimate the costs of the proposed solutions and the lead times and – if needed – provide alternatives to the sales offices also in consideration of the required price level and timing • Deviation List for the Selected Products • Create the SPL (Special Price) if required • Define all the parts of a special construction including: • material selection • initiating the drawings and part numbers creation • requesting price quotations to procurement department • Define all technical details for the orders prior to production (order cleaning) • Provide Technical Assistance for the sales offices & customers including on-site support if requested by Sales Office or Customer. • Take ownership of the technical issues and collaborate with the sales offices to provide accurate and fast solutions • Providing back up services for sales offices • Participate to KOM with other involved people (Project Manager/Engineer, Customer, Sales Office, Production, Customer Support …) • Organizing and participating in product promotion and application (include training of sales offices or new personnel) • Fulfill on daily basis the Application Data Base Others: o Participate in the development of internal systems and procedures o Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of process instrumentations and application o Collect product application information o Look for continuous improvement opportunities o Fulfill any other reasonable duties as required.
Candidatul ideal Requirements • Minimum B2 English language skills – speaking and writing • Minimum 1 year of experience • University B.S. technical degree in Automation, Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering or Electronics.
