Assistant M&A Controller Reporting to the M&A Controller and supporting Group-wide M&A activities, the Assistant M&A Controller is responsible for supporting the finance due diligence, integration activities & tracking & reporting on restructuring across all acquired companies If you outstanding at financial planning and analysis, have a good understanding of all finance functional areas (A/R, A/P, GL, Revenue Recognition); if you have experience working with senior executives in a fast-paced, highly successful environment; and if you have the necessary skill of being able to translate business actions into numbers-- this role is for you. Job Description Assistant M&A Controller will assist the M&A Controller throughout three acquisition phases: F&A Diligence, Integration and restructuring. You will assist the M&A Controller in leading and managing the integration of the finance operations of companies that the Group acquires by working closely with the acquired company’s finance team and the Group’s finance team to plan and integrate critical finance operations (eg. A/R, A/P, GL, treasury) in a smooth and orderly manner.


Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Participate in M&A Finance due diligence – Revenue, Vendor spend, Employee costs, FP&A process overview etc Assist in the preparation of the Initial P&L Model, Restructuring Budgets & Payback Charts Ownership of tracking and reporting the Restructuring budget on monthly basis to the Executive team. Ownership of tracking the savings on Operating costs Assist in setting up and migrating the acquired companies F&A processes in to the Group’s systems, processes and team. Required Experience and Education 5+ years of experience in finance / accounting Exposure to US GAAP rules as they apply to software companies Education – MBA or a Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting What we look for in a candidate: Strong communication skills & relationship-building skills Responsible, accountable self-starter Outstanding analytical skills with a thorough understanding of accounting practices and systems. Superior ability to build financial models quickly that support analytics as well as executive level reporting; focus on formats Excellent spoken and written English skills Remote working experience; must be able to work from home with good internet connections High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Docs Suite, Exposure to Accounting ERPs - Intacct, QB, NetSuite etc. will be an added advantage Comfortable working in ambiguous situations Ability to manage concurrently multiple complex projects across virtual teams and within agreed timelines. Compensation: Total Compensation up to $50,000; paid at an hourly rate of $22.00. The position is a contractor position. Location: Global (remote) Commitment: 40+ hours/week
