S.C. Infomunca S.R.L. are currently recruiting for an experienced CAD Office Design Manager for a company in UK No fees or other commissions! Benefits: - Competitive Salary - £40,000 per year - Pensions - Security of a permanent employment - Opportunity to work in an exciting and dynamic team for a leading brand in the UK Your role: -Leading a team of Designers - Managing the delivery of multiple projects at any one time. - Working alongside the engineering team to ensure feasibility of the design, assessing prototype and working with cross functional teams to problem solve - Leading a team, including hands on design, to produce designs for new products - Producing designs, to include but not limited to, design layouts, engineering drawings and schematics. This work will include the creation of 3 dimensional parts and assemblies using CAD software and subsequent production of 2D drawings and installation drawings. - Generation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) from existing and new designs. - Producing specifications, including but not limited to, working instruction, method statements, tasks and full documents. - Producing technical reports. - Participating in periodic meeting and reviews. - Representing the Business at both customer and supplier meeting. - Making recommendations for improvements, including but not limited to: Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery - Reviewing and recommending changes to company and customer specifications, drawings and proposals. - Reviewing and ensuring compliance with Company processes and procedures.
You will be an established Senior or Lead Designer seeking your first Design Manager appointment or alternatively a Design Manger seeking a new opportunity to utilise their skills in a new product area - You will have strong CAD skills and a detailed understanding of the design and development process. - You will have exceptional eye for design combined with a commercial approach. - You will be and established manager of people with the ability to lead, inspire and develop a team alongside the ability to work cross functionally to deliver a product to market on the and within budget. - Ideally you will hold a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Structural or Civil Engineering.
