Chief of Staff Aurea, the technology behind some of the world’s greatest customer experiences, is seeking a Chief of Staff (COS) to lead strategic projects and initiatives across all critical functions of the company – including marketing, sales, support, engineering, operations, and services. The COS will work collaboratively with members of Aurea’s executive leadership team and report directly to Scott Brighton, Aurea’s CEO, The Company: Aurea Software is a rapidly growing enterprise software company that delivers transformative customer experience through a variety of world class software products. With the recent acquisition of Jive Software, the Aurea team now includes 2,000 employees across 5 continents and a roster of over 4,000 customers, including Disney, British Airways, and Apple – all of whom use Aurea technology to engage employees and customers to create meaningful and transformative experiences. Aurea is partnering with Crossover to fill this position. Crossover specializes in finding and managing the talent in today’s global workforce and will help you through the recruiting process. Job Description: The COS will be responsible for leading CEO agenda strategic initiatives that are, by definition, cross-functional. These initiatives, typically 1-6 months in duration, will be designed to drive long-term improvement in Aurea’s business and prepare it for the future its fast growth is rapidly creating. The COS will need to work with key stakeholders at various levels of the organization, including the Executive Leaderhsip Team, and will report progress direction to the CEO and the ELT. The COS will get broad exposure to all elements of the enterprise software business in driving these initiatives, providing an excellent training ground for a long-term leadership role in technology. Key responsibilities: Lead the execution of strategic business initiatives across the organization and regularly communicate results and progress Work with the CEO’s Executive Assistant to help prepare for critical internal meetings, events, customer meetings, and other important CEO agenda issues Work with the Executive Leadership Team to help shape ELT agenda topics and track progress against key strategic goals


Qualifications and Key Selection Criteria Core skills and capabilities Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead and influence across various levels of the organization Outstanding conceptual and strategic thinking skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills A strong project manager with the ability to drive toward decisions and results Behavioral characteristics Insatiable curiosity and willingness to learn Socially adept with high emotional intelligence and influencing skills Unusually high bandwidth, and comfort striving towards aggressive goals A confident, resourceful self-starter with the ability to anticipate the needs of a busy CEO Direct and authentic, with a clear communication style Education and work history/experience Preferably 6-10 years of previous experience, ideally in software or technology or in a professional services environment (consulting, VC, PE, law) servicing technology clients Undergraduate degree from a top 50 university MBA from a top 20 program preferred Compensation: $75/hr Location: Global (remote) 40 hrs/week To qualify, please provide a resume demonstrating the required experience and skills.
