PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Act as the first point of contact for legal and contractual matters; take ownership of projects/processes as they are initiated. Assist and support the Europe Law Department in a wide range of legal issues throughout Europe. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide advice and support on commercial and contractual issues for the Southern Region including Spain, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Switzerland, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Greece or other jurisdictions as applicable including: * Review, respond to and negotiate customer contract conditions and frame agreements, including major key accounts * Review of legal and commercial parts of tender/bid documents * Provide advice and guidance to sales, supply chain, project management, finance and other internal customers on contractual and commercial issues * Provide input to sales, project management and supply chain on subcontracting strategies and forms and assist in producing and negotiating substantial subcontracts on major projects * Provide input to management and obtain necessary approvals regarding contractual risk areas identified * Produce and negotiate agency, distributor, reseller, OEM, system integrator and similar agreements * Provide input to the development of contracts and commercial policies and processes * Maintain, implement and follow up on relevant procedures * Maintain contracts data bases and archives * Provide input to the development and maintenance of standard contract conditions and model form agreements * Advise and support on Intellectual Property related issues (patents/trademarks) with registration, renewal of trademarks and patents, protection of I.P, transfer of I.P, maintain the overview of patents & trademarks (registrations and applications) * Provide general advice and support as requested on areas like: legalization/verification of documents, approval forms, bank facilities (letters of credits, bank guarantees) * Provide advice on and manage risks for insurances * Support the law department with the organization of training sessions in different legal fields such as general terms and conditions, contract negotiation, export law issues, compliance, anti-corruption etc. * Keep abreast of legal, contracts and policy developments and advise on their impact * Support the Europe Law Department - Europe in all corporate and commercial matters * Support the Europe Law Department - Europe in strategic projects in various areas

Cerinte

REQUIREMENTS: * Qualified in a European jurisdiction * 2 to 5 years work experience in a commercial and international field (in-house or in private practice) * Fluent spoken and written English and Romanian language skills. Other European language abilities highly desirable but not essential * Excellent interpersonal/communication skills * Ability to analyze complex situations, seek advice where necessary and provide clear, concise guidance to others * Good team player * Service oriented, self-motivated and result oriented work style * Ability to interface effectively with senior management, lawyers and other professionals both internally and with customers/suppliers * Ability to analyze complex situations, seek advice where necessary and provide clear, concise guidance to others * Ability to think Corporately and “out of the box’ to offer solutions to problems in relation to individual contracts/projects, frame agreements and internal issues * Prepared to travel (limited)
