SUMMARY OF ROLE This is a key project role within the Emerson Project execution team. The project documentation controller is an integrated member of the Emerson project team and ensures that all project documents are managed correctly and according to the project schedule. The main responsibility of a project documentation controller is to to work close with the project team members to make sure that all project documents are delivered in time and at required quality standards to the customers, suppliers and the project team. PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Takes ownership, developes and updates the� Project Documentation List. The Project Documentation Controller together with the project team and according to the customer requirements and contractual obligations, develops the list of project documentation deliverables, and plans them in accordance with the overall project schedule · Follows-up of the project documentation status, schedule dates, on time delivery, and reports the status as per the project specifications, in collaboration with the documentation creator/initiation and project team · Makes sure the document owners and reviewers are aware of the documentation schedule and are completing the necessary actions on time · Ensures document revisions are tracked and version numbers are updated appropriately, implementing the document life cycle, in SharePoint and DocPro ·Is part of the project team, reports to the Project Manager during project life, and is the main contact with customer regarding documentation management aspects · Participates actively in project internal and customer meetings, and gives updates on the project documentation status Collects and organizes the electronic documentation from the Project Team/Technical Team storing it on SharePoint or on DocPro. The documentation controller will ensure the document management sites (DocPro and SharePoint) are kept up-to-date, the project documentation is stored in the correct location within these sites and in good order · Develops and updates project documentation based on available templates and team input · Performs language and formatting proofing of the project documentation · Is familiar with corporate record retention policy and review at least annually.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Proficient at using Microsoft Office tools (especially Microsoft Word), Acrobat Reader and other documentation editing tools · Previous experience with a Document Management System (EDMS – Microsoft SarePoint, DocPro) · Basic knowledge of project environment and project execution methodologies · Familiar with quality management systems · Proactive and able to work effectively within a remote team · Good verbal and written communication skills · Has good eye for detail and able to work accurately · Fluent in English (written and spoken) with additional languages preferred.
