Distribution Sales Manager (Global/Remote) - $140K Are you an experienced IT sales professional with a proven track record in specialist software solutions and/or security software sales? Job Description: The Distribution Sales Manager is responsible for the development and relationship with our distribution partners in an assigned territory or region. This includes development of existing distribution and reseller partners, reactivation of lost and inactive partners and new partner recruitment. The role will be instrumental to drive designed channel sales activities and work closely with Regional Sales Management, Inside Sales Management and the European Channel Marketing Team and reports directly to the Director of Global Distribution Sales. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Constantly meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals, MBOs and financial performance targets set • Achieve Year on Year new business growth in both billings performance as well as partner number growth as per target set by regional management team • Further develop the relationships and continuous business success with the existing channel partners • Suggest and drive reactivation of inactive and dormant channel partners • Identify, on-board and develop new channel partners • Plan, prepare and execute on incremental callouts and channel partner activities as required from business • Further enhance the country sales strategy in close cooperation with the Regional Sales Management • Drive quarterly business review planning (QBR) with all GFI Gold, Silver partners and newly identified Rising stars as well as further increase the dedication of Bronze partners • Ensure high satisfaction level of all channel partners with GFI and be prepared to solve potential escalations on channel account manager level • Work closely with Channel Marketing Team and Regional Sales Management in order to suggest quarterly / annually marketing development funding strategy (MDF) • Implement business development activities to help drive incremental sales • Ensure in close cooperation with the Regional Sales Management and the Sales Controlling / Business Analysis Team a high level of visibility on ROI for any sales program / investment • Prepare, implement and follow up on sales and product training plans for key accounts together with the regional sales engineer • Jointly work on weekly base with inside sales team, share the plans and activities with them and strengthen the team spirit • Lead the regional weekly pipeline reviews with the top partners and submit weekly sales forecasts to the Regional Sales Management • Support the Product Management and Marketing departments in launching new products into the channel • Demonstrate and articulate a full understanding of GFI’s products and core competencies. • Present these competencies in a confident and effective manner to new and existing channel partners • Build close relationship with the Regional Sales Management team and work closely with all other GFI internal departments • Conduct all business ethically and in line with company procedures and guidelines Communication: • English Business level is required • Fluency in other languages is an asset


Required Skills and Experience: • At least 3 years of sales experience (field sales experience is a must) • A proven track record in the IT channel • Experience in specialist software solutions and/or security software sales is preferred Profile: • Expected travel volume up to 50% of working time • Positive and resilient mindset • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with little supervision • Proven ability to dynamically establish and adjust priorities based on activity • Ability to multi-task effectively • World class relationship building skills • Proficient PC skills • Salesforce® experience a plus • Skype with video webcam • Because we are a remote team you must have reliable access to a quiet work environment (loud children and pets reliably occupied elsewhere), high-speed Internet, a good headset, at least 2 GB of RAM, and Skype with video webcam OTE Compensation is $70/hr or $140K/year for a 40 hour productive week (70/30 Base/Commission) Location: Global (remote)
