Responsible for all Controlling activities related to the location in order to support the plant controller to achieve the operational and production goals agreed and planned for the Business Units producing in the plant. Leading the Controlling department and reporting of all financial transactions in accordance with local regulatory and Continental Automotive Systems requirements. Responsible for Performance Management Process for Controlling team; Organize regular meetings with the direct reports, in order to monitor performance, to motivate the team, give and receive feedback, discuss the road map and establish action plans if necessary; Responsible to ensure that employee's development monitoring and planning are at the level required by the job by setting objectives and proposing training programs for each employee; Establish the induction plan for the new entries and ensures that the checklist is complete; Coordinates and prepares Budget package for Central functions and FF for the required content (P&L & BS) and prepare for Budget Reviews; Adjusts the budgeted financial data to the development of actual sales (FC); Analysis of actual data and Forecasted data in order to identify the root cause and to take corrective actions; Financial advise to ensure guidelines, standards, procedures and targets are followed and implemented. Inform and train the colleagues for Continental and BU standards; Implementation of agreed reporting & controlling tools; Provides Monthend Reporting with explanation of deviations ontime for all Business Units and CEP. In case of deviations initiates immediately corrective actions. Provides during the month relevant informations to BU's and CEP according key principle "No surprises" at end of the month; HC, inventory and spending controlling on Plant level; Participates to the target setting for Manufacturing activities and NPF, Monitors the Manufacturing target achievement; Compiles, analyses and presents or creates presentations of information in an appropriate way to support business decisions and satisfy internal customers’ requirements; Develops and implements action plans to meet the operational targets, strategic goals and customer/market requirements; Ensures and applies Continental Finance and Controlling guidelines; Ensures implementation and conformity with all Continental Automotive; Controlling Systems, Tools , Standards and Processes. Ensure high data quality and transparency; Supports an appropriate audit systems and processes are in place to satisfy the external and for internal auditors with accounting.


Finance & Controlling Management (including Finance & Controlling policies, systems and processes); Planning and Forecasting; Cost and Financial accounting; SAP R/3 Knowledge and Usage (CO, FI); Total Cost Management; Management skills, tools and techniques (Balanced Scorecard, Benchmarking, etc.); Human relations skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking); Communication skills, including Presentation and Negotiation techniques; Lean Production principles, methods and tools (e.g. CA.PS); Romanian Accounting Laws; Analytical thinking; Knowledge of HB2 REQUIREMENTS (IFRS).
