This is a key operational role within the IT Infrastructure Organization, with the following main operational responsibilities in the Emerson Process Management IT environment including PCs, laptops, desktops, servers supporting central Client services, printers and copiers, mobile terminals like Smartphones or Blackberry’s: o To provide Foundational Support for Europe and North America Installed Base – Client, Server and Security Infrastructure Support (supporting PC installed base throughout the region, LANDesk agent coverage, change management, reporting and documentation, printing systems support), asset database management, software licensing follow-up. o To provide Operational Support for Europe and North America Installed Base – Remote client configuration, Apply defined policies, Remote image deployment, remote control, 1st and 2nd level support, Software deployment on demand; PC management for sites - patch management, alerting internal customers and other IT groups should issues or problems happen on PC’s or occasionally servers, provide assistance for PC and software rollouts. We are looking for a person with excellent Desk Side Support experience who wants to take his/her career to the next level by specializing in central management of high amount of endpoints.

Cerinte

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Desk Side Support (which also includes IT users support) , preferably in a large Enterprise environment • Specific IT Skill areas should include: o PC hardware knowledge o Expert in Microsoft Windows client operating systems including XP, Vista, Windows 7 o Excellent skills in Printing mechanism knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment o Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 system administration knowledge o IP networking administration and services o LANDesk Management Suite 8.8/9 Administration o Application Deployment and Packaging knowledge o Scripting skills (Powershell, VBS) are an advantage o VMware ESXi / VCenter knowledge is an advantage o Cisco networking basic knowledge is an advantage • An effective communicator o Good written communication skill o Good documentation & procedure writing skill o Able to manage challenge of daily remote communications through multiple tools (Instant messaging, email, phone, project management interface) • Willing to travel for short periods of time on occasion • Strong, demonstrable Customer focus • Strong analytical capabilities and good problem solving skill • Language knowledge: Fluent in English (speaking / reading / writing), other languages an advantage (Romanian, Spanish, French, Italian, German…) • Quick learner, team player • Logically organized, efficient and creative • Strong analytical skills
