Our new colleague should be: – Passionate about education in all its forms: from courses offered by universities, to training programs within the company or just sharing your experience and advice with friends - Willing and eager to help students from all over the world to experience the best education possible in some of the world’s most popular international study destinations – Someone who enjoys, or would enjoy, spending time on the phone or in correspondence through emails with international students who require advice – Experienced in working with CRM programs or databases (such as Microsoft Excel) in order to make records and keep track of your performance – Able to treat people with respect under all circumstances, instil trust in others, and uphold the values of our organisation A few more elements are required: – Proficiency in English: our audience is international, plus the main QS office is in London (UK) – Excellent telephone manner/sound knowledge of telephone etiquette: we are in contact with prospective students every day, mostly via phone – The ability to maintain enthusiasm and a high level of motivation whilst on the telephone and in the team - Good verbal and written communication skills – fast and accurate typing, the ability to create grammatically correct responses without any spelling errors: the second channel we use to connect with students is email (the most common channel is phone) – Attention to details is a must, in order to be able to improve your performance based on a tracked record.
