1. Managing the committed IP Routing & Transport deliverables to key customer 2. Ensuring delivered at the right level of cost, quality and within timeframe achieving highest levels of customer satisfaction and the desired financial outcome for Alcatel-Lucent. 3. Customer engagement: a. Being visible to key customer – active engagement at a senior level. b. Engage and take responsibility for relevant governance forums, project reviews and the like. c. Build powerful personal relationships with key customer stakeholders and senior leadership. 4. Business management: a. Drive relevant governance process to ensure Alcatel-Lucent remains “on track” on key business metrics b. Sales, Variable Margin, WIP & Cash. c. Understand the pipeline of opportunities to advice on scaling and skilling the headcount according to upcoming requirements. d. Secure cash flow and Operating Working Capital improvements.
Required Skills & Competencies: Fundamentals: · Proven track record in leading multiple functional teams/projects. This includes technical mastery, project management and people leadership. · Technical empathy and a comprehension of the telecommunications industry and related technologies. · Strong commercial and financial competency, with the ability to analyze detail while retaining the big picture. · Ability to form strong bonds with customers, understand their business needs and drivers, then translate into Alcatel-Lucent deliverables. · Dutch language is a pre-requisite due to customer engagement Desired: · Strong commercial negotiation skills. · Thorough knowledge of financial systems and tools. Qualifications/Experience Required: · Relevant degree of project management. · Minimum 7/12 years experience within telecommunications industry. · Have a breadth of technical comprehension. · Ideally have a Project Management qualification. Personal Attributes: · Ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences. · Passion for the telecommunications industry and those in it. · Ability to grasp the big picture and see the way forward from a number of perspectives. · Motivator, leader and effective change manager.
