Vacancies details The Marketing Support Officer reports to the Marketing Support Manager and is responsible for the planning, management and delivery of external communication projects. In particular, the successful candidate will be required to: • Plan, manage and deliver high performance events/projects (UK and abroad) • Ensure that these events are delivered on time, to specification and to budget • Co-ordinate and work closely with other departments at all levels • Project manage the assigned projects from inception to delivery • Carry out ‘lessons learnt’ review for continual improvement.
Essential requirements: - Self-motivated and ability to produce accurate work under pressure whilst continuing to meet set deadlines - A background of project management, coupled with strong planning experience - Proven track record of team working in a time-critical environment - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Previous experience of budget management and reporting - Passion to deliver outstanding and memorable events - Confident and customer focussed - A good working knowledge of MS Office packages including Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Project is essential - Willingness to travel if required Desirable requirements: - Previous event management experience - Formal qualifications in project management.
