Global HR is recruiting NURSERY MANAGER for an international school in Calicut, India. Main responsabilities: - Ensuring compliance with Ministry of Social Affairs, Department of Economic Development and Municipality requirements in terms of licensing and inspections; - Managing all visa and employment processes for staff in accordance with Abu Dubai law; - Budget management and reporting; - Development and monitoring of policies and procedures; - Meeting enrolment targets; - Managing publicity events, open days and parental tours; - Drafting of the Nursery Prospectus and Parent Handbook; - Website, Facebook and LinkedIn page development and maintenance; - First point of contact for prospective and current parents for all queries, comments or concerns; - Communication with parents – group mailings, newsletters, satisfaction surveys; - Complaints management; - Premises management including security, health and safety, fire safety, repairs and maintenance; - Ordering and procurement of both day to day resources and fixed assets; - Contract management and management of external contractors and suppliers; Our client offers: - Competitive salary depending on experience; - Professional Visa for 2 years, extendable at our client's expenses; - Free medical insurance; - 2 months of fully paid annual leave; - Single sharing accommodation; - Local transportation free of cost; - Employment contract for 2 years, extendable on mutual agreement;
The requirements for the job: - At least 10 years experience in nursery/childcare management; - Graduation in any discipline; - Diploma level qualification in Montessori Method from institutions such as Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), Modern Montessori International (MMI, UK), British qualification in EYFS etc are accepted; - Strong written and spoken communication skills; - Advanced level of English; - Excellent time management and organisational skills; - The ability to meet deadlines and targets; - An understanding of child protection issues and confidentiality; - Leadership skills and the ability to support, develop and motivate staff; - The ability to work with young children and their families in a sensitive and positive way; - Business and budgeting skills; - Knowledge of how children learn and develop; - Commitment to keeping up to date with developments in early years care and education; - The ability to build good working relationships with relevant agencies, schools and childcare professionals.
