We are currently recruiting a Product Manager to join a well known Healthcare manufacturing Industry. In this position you will be responsible for building a portfolio of products targeted at the Phamaceutical sector and will manage the end to end product life-cycle within this sector. As Product Manager you will be directly responsible for managing the existing product suite as well as maximising the leverage of these products in the Healthcare sector, and for identifying gaps where new product development is required. The responsibilities of the role include market analysis, requirements capture, business case development, product profitability, pricing, distribution, marketing and product quality – i.e. management throughout the product life-cycle. The Product Manager is the product champion throughout the product life-cycle, and is an expert in the features, benefits and capabilities of relevant products and how they meet the needs of applicable levels of Healthcare. You will be responsible for working closely with the Healthcare sales team to understand relevant market needs, and ensuring that the sales team understand current and planned product capability. As well as being the representative at industry forums, sales presentations and relationship meetings.
Skills and experience required for this role are: • Experience of providing products or services to central Healthcare departments and/or Healthcare agencies. • A proven track record in delivering new revenue through product planning, delivery and management. • Strong analytical skills and financial literacy • Ability to plan and organise effectively and deliver to deadlines. • An attention to detail, a ‘right first time’ approach. • Experience of engaging with internal customers (e.g. IT, Operations, finance and marketing) • Able to communicate at all levels within the business, clearly and concisely • The ability to build cross-functional relationships and to work, under pressure, with different teams. • An entrepreneurial spirit coupled with good negotiating skills • Ability to build and inspire virtual teams to achieve challenging objectives.
