We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer that would be involved in quality assurance and customer support for complex automation software for the semiconductor industry. As a Product QA Specialist, you are expected to design a comprehensive set of test scenarios that can help identify defects prior to product deployment. Also you are responsible to design experiments that can facilitate the reproduction of customer issues. This is truly a cross-functional role working together with local and remote Development team members to expedite defect containment and resolution. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and innovative-driven candidate to join a dynamic team and be part of a challenging work environment. Responsibilities: • Develop a comprehensive set of test scenarios for identifying defects during development phase. • Develop test automation scripts for performing regression test. • Become a Product Expert. • Manage multiple testing and support tasks in parallel. • Troubleshoot, replicate and investigate customer issues. • Exposure to OEM users. Desired Skills and Experience: • University Degree required. • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively. • Able to communicate verbally and in writing with customers in a professional manner. • Strong analytical skills, ability to plan, track tasks and deliver to agreed timescales. • Strong troubleshooting skills • Knowledge in programming languages like C++, C# is a plus. • Scripting skills (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash) is required. • Experience with build & test automation tools (e.g. TFS, Jenkins). • Familiar with bug tracking tools, preferably Clear Case. • Ability to interface with customers. • Ability to specify and/or setup testbeds to reproduce customer issues.
