As a Quality Manager in Project your responsibility will be to support the Project Manager as empowered partner with regard to effective planning, implementation and control of project-specific actions taken for quality assurance. Your activities will include to: Development and maintenance of the Quality Plan. Quality plan must be agreed with the customer and with internal project team; Ensure that the necessary quality objectives and safety measures for the projects are identified and noted with respect to all requirements; Monitoring the information flow regarding quality topics among the disciplines in the team; Continuous quality reporting which must contain the implementation status of measures and results according Quality Plan, and status of correction measures in case of deviations to meet planned targets; Supporting the release of prototypes, tooling, equipment (gauges, fixtures), customer approval (e.g. process capability studies) by supervising, that the requirements fixed in the Quality Plan are fulfilled; Conduct the start of the Lessons Learned process and pursuing that lessons learned are used and collected; Ensuring the planning and performing of process audits for production process, product tests and part analysis; Coordination of the internal audits and participation in customer audits. The role of the QMP includes both managing and quality engineering activities, being responsible in front of the customer for the quality of the product. A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
