Main objectives and activity: · Provides Procurement leadership and expertise and best value solutions to the EMEA organization on Operating Supplies categories: Maintenance and Other Industrial Supplies. · Develops robust commodity strategies for the Procurement Organization, with consideration to quality, cost, speed and service requirements, market conditions, risks and exposures, competitive landscape, and projected changes over the strategic planning horizon; global industry trends, suppliers’capabilities, and overall supply chain expertise · Sources and negotiate national/regional/global agreements with suppliers to support the Procurement strategies. · Develops metrics to analyze and measure the supplier performance and lead Supplier Quarterly Business reviews in collaboration with internal customers/key stakeholders. · Identifies and drives cost reduction opportunities and Cash Improvement initiatives to meet or exceed Annual Operating Plan · Maintains knowledge repository on all Corporate supplier relationships and documentation & acts as corporate expert on this matter · Gains proficiency in procurement tools and processes necessary to manage assigned commodities. · Identifies and drives strategic sourcing projects; · Maximizes use of electronic procurement tools, where applicable & drive the accuracyof the tool information. · Provides leadership in areas of commodity supply management decision-making · Drives to achieve /exceed goals; steadfastly pushes self and others for results · Strong work ethic; self starter; results orientation · Drives supplier base optimization

Specific competences required: · Ability to work in an organization undergoing a transformation · Strong comprehensive technical knowledge of procurement/sourcing; · Knows the EMEA suppliers market landscape · 5 years sourcing experience. Indirect products / Services · 3 years of Indirect products commodity management experience · Strong at planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management · Experience and proven ability to manage and influence people from multiple countries EMEA based locations · Ability to make data driven decisions · Knowledgeable in policies, practices and industry trends in assigned commodity area and can quantify potential impacts to business results · English and German / French - required Autonomy and decision making responsibility: · Manages by influence · Communicates clearly; balances listening and speaking; respects others while they speak and responds thoughtfully; reflects on people’s concerns; easy to approach · Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal customers; establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal customers and suppliers to gain their trust and respect · Good decision-making; uses analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment in making sound decisions
