We’re looking to re-engage with the community by providing Rails tips and thought-leadership both on our website and on various blogs and Q&A sites. Job Description Your main focal point would be to create highly valuable content both on and off the engineyard.com site.. Ruby on Rails experience is preferred, but if you have strong developer skills and can transfer that knowledge to RoR quickly, you will be considered. Key Responsibilities Blog Posts on EY.com (technical, future-facing, RoR community) Q&A contributions on sites like Stack Overflow, Reddit, Quora, GitHub Twitter engagements with RoR prospects and influencers Blog commentson other blogs Guest posts on other blogs Whitepapers Produce engaging, useful and relevant content for our readers.
Skills and Experience 5+ years’ experience of content generation on online media 3+ years experience with 'Ruby on rails' development Strong writing skills are essential. Willingness to work in a global culture and facilitate relationships across the world. Compensation is $40/hr or $80k/year for a 40 hour productive week Location: Global (remote)
