SUMMARY OF ROLE This is a key role within the Emerson Project team and the Documentation Control team. The senior project documentation controller is involved in large projects covering one or multiple Business Units. The main responsibility of a Senior Project Documentation Controller is to manage and coordinate other Project Document Controllers within the same project or program. PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ·Takes Leadership on the European DocPro roll-out program · Coordinates with European champions in guiding the DocPro adoption · Documentation Control responsibilities on Cross BU and/or Mega Projects ·Coordinates other Project Documentation Controllers within the same project or program ·Customer and supplier interfacing ·Training and Refreshment training delivery for non Document Controller roles on projects ·Training and development of more junior team members ·Takes ownership, develops and updates the Project Documentation List · Follow-up of the project documentation status, schedule dates, on time delivery, and reports the status as per the project specifications. · Development and updates of project documentation based on available templates and team input · Language and formatting proofing of the project documentation · Is part of the project team and reports to the Project Manager during project life · Works according to the Emerson PMO procedures and works toward standardization · Is familiar with corporate record retention policy and review at least annually
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE · Proven experience working in a project environment – pharma and lifescience projects · Understand basic types of documentation deliverables per type of project · Familiar with complex interaction and communication with multiple departments and teams · Knowledge of quality management systems (GAMP5) · Experience with delegation and coordination activities · Proactive and able to work effectively within a remote team · Good verbal and written communication skills · Fluent in English (written and spoken) with additional languages preferred.
