For a multinational Dutch transport company, who provides European "foodstuff multimodal services" we are looking for a Sales Director for the Balkan area Romania (1st stage) Bulgaria (2nd stage) and region of former Yugoslavia (further stage).The company is specialized in road tanker transport as inter-modal tank container services and has a network of own vehicles all over Europe and Russia. The company has approximately 1.200 foodstuff only tank units, all operated within Europe and Russia and is a leading service provider in this industry.
We are looking for candidates who have to be: -responsible for business development -inter-modal transportation of liquid bulk food products -road transportation of liquid bulk food products -sales activity on the subordinate area: -gaining new customers (acquisition, telesales and meeting with customers) and managing relationships with them -participating in offering process -searching for inter-modal and modal road sub-contractors -searching for inter-modal rail service providers -searching for short see service providers -purchasing activity with above players -developing of operational tools/solution network -optimization of the network by renegotiation of freights Requirements: -fluent English is a must -furthermore German, Russian will be advantage -sales skills – customer orientation -at least 2 years experience in forwarding activity/transportation (middle management) -road-tankers activities and intermodal transportation will be advantage -negotiations, purchasing /appreciated/ -dealing with charters/suppliers -cost/savings orientation -active, self-motivated, target oriented person who is focused on long term self-development. Foreign languages: -English, advanced level - German, Russian will be advantage Education: Higher education or graduating weekend studies Other information: -Availability to travel -Driving license is a must
