SUMMARY OF ROLE * The Sales Support assistant is responsible for Sales Management related activities and administrative support for the PSS country sales organizations in Europe; * The Sales Support Assistant will be responsible for updating Emerson internal sales systems with opportunity/pursuit information, following up the status of opportunities and providing monthly reports. � PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Work closely together with the European management, sales and sales support teams in order to identify proactive sales leads/opportunities in the Installed Base; * Support the Field Sales Offices in Europe by entering, updating and following up on Opportunities in Oracle CRM, according to the defined processes and standards; * Review and check the correctness of Opportunities entered by the proposal and sales engineers based on standards and take the appropriate measures to correct them if needed; * Organize periodical calls with the country key stake holders in order to review the status of the existing Opportunities; * Based on received feedback from Sales, update the business systems accordingly; * Work closely with the CRM support teams in order to improve sales management processes and reporting; * Supports the training of PSS in country resources in the Sales Management activities; * Apply all required processes in the follow-up of issued proposals and close-out of completed quotations, monitor and control the status of the quotations within Emerson’s estimating tools and archiving systems; * Actively involved in the development of the tools used by the PSS sales teams and address user requirements to the appropriate groups; * Draw-up specific activity reports; * Develop and maintain a good knowledge of PSS solutions, services and Industry applications; * Adhere to Emerson Process Managements Ethical values at all time; * Follow the correct working methods, procedures, tools and identify areas of improvement; where needed.
Candidatul ideal REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS� AND� EXPERIENCE * Fluent in English with a second European language at advanced level (written and spoken) * University degree with emphasis on foreign languages; * 1+ years experience in a similar position in a commercial environment (customer support, sales support, technical sales, procurement); * Experience working in geographically distributed teams * Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, planning applications, databases * Business acumen, detail-oriented and ability to work accurately
