Job Purpose: Prepares quotations ensuring that requests are handled at a high quality, accurately and in time. Maintain and develops customer loyalty through high levels of service to expand and strengthen the relationship. Identifies, offers and sells the best solution for the customer’s application; provides commercial and technical support; always striving to provide the highest standards of customer service in accordance with the Problem Solver principle. Main Responsibilities: * Verify the Purchase Order (PO) to ensure that it is according to the offered financial and technical proposal * Prepare and send customer quotations that are on time, technically accurate, commercially verified, and offer the best all-round solution * Maintain accurate and complete records in CRM and other tools as required * Document customer satisfaction feedback in CRM, following-up as appropriate * Review the Request for Quote (RFQ) received from Emerson locations across Europe * Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements * Size and select the products according to requirements and application * Communicate with manufacturing locations for queries regarding lead-time, specials, etc * Conducting all business activities and all communication in a professional manner at all times * Ensuring that all technical information communicated is complete, accurate and timely. * Support Order Execution to ensure that purchase orders are commercially and technically complete and accurate, and to resolve any technical-related issues that occur during order cycle. * Pro-active management of personal quote backlog in accordance with the agreed procedures. * Ensuring that activities are carried out according to agreed departmental KPIs and Procedures, and recorded in required business systems (constantly and comprehensively). * Attending relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products as and when released. * Adhering to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics policy, with respect to all business activities. Communicates with: * Engineers, Buyers, Sales Representatives, Users * Field Sales and Service Engineers * Team Coordinator/Leader regarding day-to-day business activities& process improvements (CIP) * Perfect Execution Coordinators regarding process improvements * Project Management Office colleagues for project handover, ETO and/or Documentation * Operations colleagues regarding lead-times, order status, date and backlog management * Marketing colleagues for product and/or marketing material advice * Flow Lifecycle Services colleagues for application


Requirements: * University degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical or chemical preferred) * Relevant experience in a similar position or in a commercial environment (technical support, quotations, technical sales); * Languages: English – advanced level (mandatory) * PC skills: MsOffice, Internet
