Providing support for all utility matters (steam, condensate, N2, fuels, water, biotreater, flare, electricity, etc) on Botlek and Maasvlakte sites Providing support for the implementation of the new steam boilers at Botlek Being plant focal point for energy related affairs (support of European Utility Procurement group and the Energy Technical Network), adherence to national energy legislation, Monitoring, improving and coordinating energy efficiency initiatives: Implementation and maintenance of Energy Management systems Overview and planning of energy (cost) saving projects Ensure all energy and CO2 reporting is completed per schedule Reporting CO2 emission for Botlek and Maasvlakte operating sites with the target to continuously optimize LYB's energy cost position. Assisting with implementation of national energy and emission reporting following corporate requirements and to facilitate energy and emission related audits at local level. In cooperation with Procurement department, providing support for negotiations for utility contacts with 3rd parties Compliance and advice with regard to Energy Legislation Supporting national CO2 Emission Trading
Bachelor or Master in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Science, or related At least 3 years’ experience with utilities and energy related affairs Practical work experience in a plant (e.g. as Process/Chemical Engineer), preferably within petrochemical industry Fluent language skills in Dutch and English Social and commercial skills What do we offer : We offer a challenging and rewarding job in a team of highly professional peers within an innovative global company with lots of opportunities for personal development.
