Within my own small business, I designed and created wallpieces and mirrors made of mosaic.
Main tasks: close contact with colleagues in overseas offices and also with local clients, preparing all relevant documents for airway packages, dealing with the customs brokers, forwarders, warehouse workers making sure everything goes smoothly and the clients receive their packages in time.
Main tasks: contracts, negotiations, correspondence with local and foreign suppliers. Daily duties included: emails, phone calls, quotation requests, negotiations, meetings with business partners.
I was employed to conduct English courses at one of their main clients, a leading oil company – OMV Petrom SA - on two locations, Oradea and Suplacu de Barcau, with emphasis on Conversational English with the Beginner Group and on Business English with the Intermediate and Advanced Groups.
I was one of the two foreign EFL teachers in charge of teaching Listening and Conversation and Applied English classes to academic and vocational classes. As our curriculum was completely different from that of the local Taiwanese teachers, I had to manage the entire teaching process: textbook choices, class organization, quizzes and tests, mid-term and final exams and extracurricular activities such as field trips and English clubs.
I was hired as an English Instructor over a period of two academic years. My main duties were bringing the first year students to a good level of English, as in the second and third years they would study IT courses taught exclusively in English.
For six months I taught English conversation classes to Dae Han English Training Center in Daejeon and Sejong Academy in Yangsan. Students’ age and English proficiency varied greatly even within a class; therefore my main task was encouraging the students to overcome their emotional fear when it came to using English in everyday life. A stress was laid on conversational skills.
I worked for this company (producer and exporter of electronic devices and displays) as Assistant Manager. Having business partners in various countries on all continents, my position implied maintaining a close contact with our partners, dealing with the written correspondence (contracts, translations, e-mail, letters), and making sure that the entire import-export process develops well.
FRCCF (Romanian Foundation for Children, Community and Family) is an NGO partner with CCF of GB and I was employed as a translator – administration clerk. My duties included translations, filling forms, filing documents, correspondence with sponsors in order to maintain a close contact between the children in our projects and their sponsors abroad.
After college graduation I attended the national exams and I was hired by one of the high schools in my hometown. I taught the English language and literature program (curriculum) set by the Ministry of Education.
