I would like to work in a friendly and fun environment. I have two years of experience in medical recruitment (sales) and a year in retail. I would like to get into a role where there is room for progression also.
ID Medical: 2013 – 2015 Evening and weekend recruitment consultant: I was employed by ID Medical, in 2013, my first role in this company was evening and weekend recruitment consultant, meaning my job was to ensure over the evening and weekends, sometimes throughout the night that all nurses were confirmed to attend their shifts and gain documents required to work for our agency. I also found myself sorting issues with nurses, gaining an understanding of why they didn’t want to go to their shifts/didn’t want to speak with their consultants – this helped me within my next role at ID Medical. Here, I worked my way to becoming the accounts manager for the clients during the evening, taking the calls for the hospitals, ensuring great customer service and ensuring the hospitals were fully staffed and taking calls for new requirements. Fully pledged recruitment consultant: I was then promoted and asked to come full time with the company as I ‘sponged’ all information given and training given, and ‘had the potential to be a great recruitment consultant’ – I took the offer with both hands and adhered to the 12 week training programme that ID Medical gives. I sponged all information given from the training and was billing the company £6.5k by the time I had completed it, where my target was £2.5k, overexceeding in all aspects KPI’s that were set. I then moved to being a live consultant, doing the same roles as i was doing as a trainee consultant, but on a much larger scale. I had a team of 90+ nurses of which i needed to manage in order to hit £40K+ targets.
