Carrying researches regarding the master thesis about Graphene. My mainly responsibilities included: •CVD tube furnace calibration. •Preparation of suitable substrates: silicon, quartz, magnesium oxide, zirconium oxide. •Optimisation of synthesis process parameters - time, temperature, gas flow for each substrate. •Direct process deposition, overall about 200 hours. •Testing obtained structures using OM, TEM, SEM, AFM and Raman Spectrometer. •Data analysis using programs: Origin, Wire, WSxM, Digital Micrograph.
•Familiar with: Materials: steels, non-ferrous metals, composites, biomaterials, gradient materials, polymers. Forming the structures and properties of surface layers: CVD, PVD, carbonization, nitriding. Materials testing. •Experience in preparation specimens for: OM, SEM, TEM, AFM, X-ray, Raman Spectrometer. •IT literate including standard office software. •Basic experience in materials processing and investigations. •Experience in working in chemical synthesis laboratory. •Ability to work with laboratory equipment. •Knowledge of AutoCAD, ME10, SolidWorks, Inkskape, PluraGuide, CoroGuide, Ansys Workbanch, ExSys, Wire, OriginPro, WSxM. •Understanding of engineering drawings. •European driving licence Category B. •Fluent in Polish and English, basic Spanish and German
