•	I worked within the MARCOMS department at Gatwick as a ‘Recruiting Communications Intern’
•	I was responsible for ensuring that the company only attracted graduates that would be a proper fit for the company and met all the necessary criteria. This saved time in the long-term recruiting process. 
•	I developed a better understanding of the importance of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)
•	I was fortunate enough to visit the D&M depot in Aberdeen, which provided me with the opportunity to talk to field engineers and develop a better understanding of the challenges faced with working in, and preparing equipment for service, and how these are overcome.

Engineering Internship; 

•	Based in the Engineering Development department of the Llanelli factory
•	Gained invaluable experience working with machinery ranging from grinding, turning, polishing and coating steel and composite components 
•	Learned key skills in CAD imagining and bill of materials layout 
•	Shadowed the development manager and was given the opportunity to be part of the development of a new scheme aimed at reducing waste and I introduced a time management plan to reduce machine down time.

Student Swansea Events,  September 2011 – July 2012

•	Managing a team of 14 people working at a club night on a weekly basis; keeping track of staff wages and hours, delegating tasks and calculating rotas.
•	In charge of liaising with other managers and booking artists

Information Technology Skills:
•	Familiar with all Microsoft and Mac operating systems. I am proficient in MATLAB, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Solid works and AutoCAD – I used all of these programs extensively in my previous work experience and throughout my time at Swansea University.

Interests: Spending my free time outdoors, camping, hiking, surfing, mountain biking and water polo.
