I work at vessel project like: Offshore Subsea Construction Vessels, Platform Supply Vessels, Research Vessel . I design foundations for ship equipments. I also make mounting plans for ship equipments. I design internal and external stairs , shelves, raised floors, workbanches, platforms, expansions tanks. Provided technical 3-D and 2-D models to the manufacturing and engineering departments for cost analysis and support; Designed multifaceted drawings in AutoCAD which included modifications made to the ships steel structure ; Analyzed documents prepared by other designers; Developed required technical documentation based on available information using the design system and other existing tools; Performed complex calculations involving parts and materials, machine weight limits and manufacturing processes; Drafted measurement sheets, technical manuals, bills of materials and equipment specifications; Resolved issues reported by production engineers, QC engineers, beneficiaries and class registered inspectors; Informed the technical supervisor and project coordinator of outstanding mechanical issues involved throughout active projects.
I prepare production strategy for each vessel or other product, in collaboration with the department chiefs involved in the execution of processes of that project.I issue tehnological processes analize. I set corrective action for process (after tehnological processes reviews). I issue working process method for vessel units
I resolved varied problems appeared during vessel assembly and mounting such as misalignments and colides. I was responsible for the design department to resolve problems encountered from the execution of two platform supply vessels or design problems observed in the execution phase. I issue and manage modification or remediation sheets. I design insertion according YACS rules. I design technological cut-outs for acces and for equipment mounting. I resolve the customer request's and clasification society observations.
I contributed to the improvement of various products such as: clamshell, dragline, excavator. I designed the boom and hydraulic cylinders of boom for a new clamshell. I designed to the beak piece, roller assembly and chains assembly for bucket to dragline. I designed the hydraulic lock assembly to the scrap iron hydraulic press. I worked to a new chassis for the mini-loader. I improve the excavator cabine.
