Responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of the restaurant with the primary focus on ensuring high quality food service at all times. Maintaining and instructing assigned personnel as to safety and sanitation policies and procedures; ensuring hazards are eliminated.
Working effectively as part of a team to ensure high quality service provision to international guests onboard the luxury cruise ship. Responsible for ensuring strict compliance with company and industry specific health and safety regulations including participating in weekly lifeboat drills.
Coordinating the activities of other members of staff, both front and back of house, and ensuring that they deliver a high standard of service at all times. Conducting thorough investigations into any complaints that may arise and facilitating their swift resolution.
Fully accountable for the management of the restaurant including responsibility for stock control and ordering, health & safety compliance and budget management. Managing the recruitment and selection of new members of staff and identifying and meeting their individual training and development needs.
