: I am responsible with writing the international news section for the B1TV newscasts choosing, writing and editing the most relevant stories for the audiences, maintaining a good relationship with the bureau of the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the representatives of the foreign embassies in Romania and coordinating the international news department.
I was in charge with writing the press releases, maintaining a good relationship with the press, promoting the company's activities in the media, making the communication plan for the projects, updating the website, organizing events to increase the awareness of the organization. The foundation runs 5 multiregional projects with EU money: My duty was to inform the public and the media about the outcome of the programs, number of beneficiaries, to promote the organization and identify possible donors for the fund raising actions. I was also in charge with outlining and implementing the communication strategy of the organization, writing the newsletter and promoting the social media activities in the organization
: I was responsible with writing the international news section for the newscasts of Antena3 (national coverage news television) airing every hour, choosing the most relevant pieces of news from the wires of Reuters, AP,CNN, browsing the Internet for information of interest, contacting personalities for interviews. I covered breaking news such as the start of the war in Gaza or the earthquake in Haiti. Also, for Antena1 (national coverage entertainment TV station), I was in charge with finding and writing international news to match the expectations of the public (politics at the same time with stories about VIP's) for the morning show named Observator.

Among my achievements I enumerate: covering the business trips of the Romanian foreign affairs minister, writing about the Romanian community living overseas. Also, I interviewed Ms.Colleen Graffy, Deputy Assistant U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, Mr. Phil Noble, expert in communication and adviser of the then next to be U.S. President, Mr. Barack Obama, Mr. Radu Florescu, leader of the American democrats in Romania, Ambassador David J. Smith, Director, Georgian Security Analysis Center, Tbilisi, and Senior Fellow, Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, Washington
My job was to write foreign affairs articles, to conduct interviews with foreign politicians and military commanders, to maintain the newspaper's relation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Achievements: I covered several business trips of the Romanian foreign affairs minister, I interviewed personalities of the international scene such as: Prince El-Hassan bin Talaal of Jordan, Mr. Ólafur Ragnar Grimsson, the president of Iceland, Mr. Jamie Shea, NATO Director of Policy Planning, Mr. Emilio Cabaliero Rodrigues, foreign affairs vice minister of Cuba.
Responsibilities: I was in charge with translating from English into Romanian and vice versa for the American missionary working in Romania, organize her agenda, work with the children in the orphanages where the foundation was helping, taught them to read and write, read them stories, took them out on trips
: I was responsible with gathering, writing and editing news stories (both local and national) for the 5, 6 and 10 o'clock newscasts as well as for the morning shows (KTXS News at Five, at Six, at Ten, KTCS This Morning). I went out on stories with the KTXS reporters, I gathered, wrote and edited my own news stories, investigated stories accompanied by a photographer and turned these stories into news materials according to the American Journalistic standards (VO, VOSOT, PKG) I was chosen for this internship thanks to my journalistic skills and my ability to write news in English.
