CDU PRODUCTION FIELD OPERATOR From 10.2010 i have worked , and still working as a field operator (day and shifts depending on personnel availability ) in the Crude Distillation Unit. When working as a day shift operator, duties correspond with the foreman duties. In CDU i have worked as a Desalination operator and Atmospheric distillation. Follow the default installation of equipment, the static and the dynamic, land and online ''Plant Information'' and ''Delta V'', Check, operate and observe all activities/situations on plant equipment within the defined area of duty, under the supervision of the . Participate to provide flexibility for labour in the other areas and cover the duties of the Supervisor (field) when required. Monitor by observation/routine patrol all activities on plant including the safe behaviour of colleagues, other department personnel and contractors. Log and record all running plant parameters. Report back giving detailed information of any abnormalities defects and perform first line diagnostics on equipments. Prepare equipment using established detailed procedures in the area for maintenance and major overhaul. Liaise with maintenance staff for safe monitoring of permits to work, prior to commencing/completion and during ongoing work. Maintain a clear detailed log book of all activities, plant conditions and defects, etc and give precise handover information in the job relief. Carrie out routine checks on plant lubricating oil levels/ water contamination, flows and temperatures for all rotating equipment and take samples for laboratory analysis. Maintain adequate supplies on consumable chemicals and filter elements, etc. for plant requirements, good housekeeping practices in the area and observe acceptable levels of risk perception. Carrie out operational preparation on equipment prior to release for maintenance. Supervise and authorise work on the assigned area by ensuring proper implementation of permit to work instructions. Observe to have thorough knowledge of ESD systems associated with the defined are of duty. Ensure the application of permit to work conditions by observing and monitoring safe work practices. Maintain a high standard of HSE awareness, particularly the environment concerns and adheres fully to safety rules, and participate in safety training /exercise. Carrie out other similar or related duties such as participating in plant emergency exercise and perform as first line attack on fires or leaks ,etc
Drafting documents (instructions for loading the vessel, to liaise with the production, checking availability and quality of products to be loaded) Communication with the trading house and monitoring of trading, the finance department ,dispatch office, and independent inspectors Monitor and coordinate execution of contracts. Check invoices and annexes in order to justify the amounts paid (quantity, price, exchange rate, etc) and follow payment process; Issue commercial invoices as per legal provisions in force and fallow payment process; Keep records of invoices, contracts, movement of goods. Keep and check stocks inventory and provide periodical reports as to movement of goods. Issue load orders, documentary instructions, notifications to all parties concerned and in close agreement with contractual stipulations. Provide reports related to trade execution (volumes, costs, operation, productivity, etc). Maintain commercial correspondence with internal/external clients & and develop an excellent customer/supplier relationship.
