The position offered the opportunity to come even closer to the production environment and to achieve a better understanding regarding the process of tobacco processing and cigarette production. Return in Philip Morris Romania in Operations-Engineering Department at the start of another new project for PM. The new assignment involved several tasks, a very new learning experience and a lot of trial and error processes to achieve the best results in the fastest pace. Major attributions involved: -active component in the transition and implementation of the IFMS (integrated facility management system) from DeepServ (cleaning) & Dussman (building maintenance) to the ISS general partner; -create and maintain specific system for Lead Time evaluation for ISS partner, with historical data and monthly KPI; -monthly evaluation of general subcontractor regarding reactive building maintenance; -daily negotiation with ISS partner regarding time related issues, cost and man power distribution; -supervise cost and quality on all projects assigned; -daily supervision upon all maintenance activities assigned to ISS assuring a safe environment and healthy work habits; -offer technical support and information when ever needed to ISS personnel; -supervise all external subcontractors regarding specific working procedures involving safety, equipment, internal rules and quality of results and taking responsibility for their general activities; -do building audit regarding cleaning, general maintenance and specific systems ( fire doors, walls, ceilings, smoke sensors, roof tops, sanitary groups etc.). Noticeable achievements: -propose and implement energy saving project involving better use off natural light in Warehouse area correlated with external light sensor- Silver Prize in Open Prize Program; -handle and implement in a timely manner and within budget small projects involving: replacement and repairs of exterior industrial windows blinds, exterior building paintings (supervision and support for external subcontractor-teams of >10), replacement of linoleum in-house (team of 3) etc. -create and maintain a good working relationship with all ISS personnel.
Three months contract in the Head Office of SAB Miller - Ursus Romania, Supply chain department. A fast learning experience where i brought my knowledge and determination to improve and maintain the teams results. Personal achievements include: - take over and delivery of a daily report regarding stock age, delivery in time and critical data regarding supply chain activity; -create analysis regarding warehousing in proper condition of finished good at the distributor; -offer support for direct distribution partners and maintain existing relationships; -take over and maintain hit rate analysis for deliveries on a weekly basis, regarding planned and delivered finished good to business partners. Activity with high impact on partners evaluation, bonuses and stock blockade due to credit note system; -other administrative tasks.
Work place in Operations - Engineering department with the following tasks and achievements: -data cleansing for spare parts inventory and data base preparation for integration in SAP System. Active role in physical inventory of spare parts, spare parts identification and data consolidation for P1 program, integration of SAP in Philip Morris Romania. -spare parts monitoring regarding: safety stock, consumption and track history; -back-up for Spare parts analyst; -create base order, follow up and troubleshoot any issues regarding mechanical spare parts needed in production; -maintain close relations with all parties involved in cost approving process regarding spare parts, with support in decision by assuring documentation and complementary technical info from production and mechanical supervisors.
